D-type pump Horizontal Multi-Stage Centrifugal Pump introduce:
The D-type horizontal multistage centrifugal pump is a specialized solution designed specifically for high-pressure water supply and mining drainage. It is constructed from high-strength ductile iron/stainless steel, and features precision-cast impellers and mechanical seals to ensure corrosion resistance, minimal leakage, and long service life. With a flow range covering 10–500 m³/h and a maximum head of up to 1500 meters, it is suitable for demanding applications such as mine drainage, municipal water supply, industrial circulation systems, and boiler feedwater in power plants.
The D-type multistage centrifugal pump is a horizontal single-suction multistage segmented centrifugal pump. It achieves high-pressure delivery by incrementally pressurizing the liquid through a series design of multiple impellers and diffusers. Its core principle is based on the action of centrifugal force, with the specific process as follows:

Impeller: Multiple stages in series, each stage's impeller connected via a shaft, generating centrifugal force when rotating.
Diffuser: Located at the outlet of the impeller, used to guide the liquid flow to the next impeller and recover part of the kinetic energy, converting it into pressure energy.
Inlet section, middle section, outlet section: Segmented structure for easy maintenance and adjustment of the number of stages.
Shaft Seal: Mechanical seal or soft packing seal to prevent leakage.
Balancing Device: Balance disc or self-balancing structure (in some models) to offset axial forces.
The working principle of the D-type pump mainly includes four stages: the startup stage, the operating stage, the pressurization stage, and the output stage.
Startup Stage: It is necessary to ensure that the pump casing and suction pipe are fully filled with water. Then the motor is started, causing the pump shaft to rotate, driving the impeller and water into high-speed rotational motion.
Operating Stage: When the impeller generates strong centrifugal force inside the pump chamber, the liquid inside the impeller is thrown toward the periphery of the impeller along the flow passages between the blades under the action of centrifugal force. During this process, both the pressure and velocity of the liquid increase.
Pressurization Stage: The expelled liquid is then directed into the next impeller, where it undergoes progressive pressurization, causing the liquid pressure to increase continuously.
Output Stage: Finally, after undergoing multistage centrifugal action, the liquid’s pressure and velocity are significantly increased. It is then directed toward the outlet and ultimately discharged from the pump’s discharge port.
