The D-type horizontal multistage centrifugal pump is a pump specially designed for conveying clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. It consists of multiple impellers and corresponding guide vanes, which are arranged horizontally along the pump shaft to form a so-called "multi-stage" structure. This design can produce a higher head (i.e. the height to which the pump can lift the liquid), suitable for applications requiring high pressure output.
